Health is a difficult concept to define. The World Health Organization defines health as the absence of disease, but health belongs to the following areas: physical health, mental health and social health. This is called a sound bio-psychosocial model, and we will continue it through the series. Let's start with the basics. Insufficient sleep and exercise will adversely affect your overall health. Your circadian rhythm (your alertness when you are sleeping, when you wake up) and the normal function of your body will split. You may notice that your energy level is gradually declining, even "a sense of the weather". This alone makes you feel uncomfortable, irritated, difficult to show around. You may capture people's excessive problems (usually not affecting you as well).

Is your balance of health, relationships, beliefs unbalanced? If your health is not good, it will also affect your physical and mental health. Due to low energy, difficulty sleeping, low mood, clear thinking, irritability, stress, anxiety, it is difficult to survive this day. Best health is important to your quality of life, and there are other advantages besides good. By improving your health, you may improve your spiritual and mental health and change your life.

Health is multifaceted. It is physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. It is also an integral part of sustained progress. Indeed, you can burn for a while without a healthy foundation, but it will stay in this way and in the end you will burn out. Sacrificing health is short-sighted. It is necessary for long-term competition. In the scientific sense, stress is a factor that stimulates growth. Living creatures that are not under pressure are not adapted and do not change. So you need stress. However, stress is only beneficial when there is adequate dose and capacity, resources and support to absorb it. Stress is worth only after a break

In my opinion, it is mental health that is more important than physical health. The prevalence of anxiety, depression, and other psychiatric disorders is a record high. Especially at high pressure and high pace work environment (such as work in the technology industry), high average wages will not infect people's mental health problems. Regardless of salary, stress is stress. Bradfeld has already commented on this issue, and more importantly, more leaders will do the same. Through the practice of my coaching, I broke IT during my career and had a conversation with several experts who worked in a highly desirable high-paying job. But, spiritually, they are deeply suffering.
