Women are caregivers and providers for many families all over the world. Women often want their own, children, and families to have a better future. Women have the ability to improve their lives. Many women are seeking opportunities for employment and education in the city. (Meleis 2011, 1). The role of women is changing in developed and underdeveloped countries. The size and structure of the population are evolving. This means a new social and health related challenge.
In this opinion, the American Medical College (ACP) faces during the lifetime of the US healthcare system such as health access, sex and gender specific health problems, health problems compared to men I will investigate the issue. Change, underestimation in research, and public policy that affect women, families, society. The ACP focused on policies to improve women's health outcomes and made several recommendations to ensure a health care system that supports the needs of women and their families throughout their lives.
Women face particular challenges in their lives, with physical health, interaction with health systems, and social roles. They account for over half of the US population and may live longer than men - the number of women over the age of 85 is beyond that of men, close to 2 to 1 (1). Women are using healthcare systems as representatives of patients, carers and families, especially in view of cost, access issues, discriminatory policy, and lack of representative influence in biomedical and health outcome studies
