The world is full of diversity. You can discover this diversity, people culture and belief system. The following papers will explain three of these belief systems to make the reader understand the small examples of how the belief system shapes their response to healthcare. The three religions covered are Bahá'í faith, Muslim, Buddhism. In Baha'i faith they teach that they believe in universal consciousness, represents only one god, only one person, and the stage where all religions of the world reveal divine will and human purpose .
In addition to studying these different beliefs, this article also examines the importance of people who take care from their own views and different providers. Christian Christian was the first hospital that began "world's first spontaneous charity" (Trangelder, 2007). They established these hospitals because they wanted to help poor people and people who were sick and dead (Trangelder, 2007). Medical and Christian faith are closely related. One of the most important elements of treatment is prayer. Christians place great emphasis on prayer
This article explores three different beliefs and compares their thoughts on treatment through culturally competent care. For healthcare providers, it is important to abandon their religious and cultural beliefs and continue to respond sensitively to patient needs. Healthcare providers "speak different languages filled with medical terms, and our understanding and beliefs about health and illness can be very different from those we serve" (Wintz & Coope, 2009). Healthcare providers can provide culturally competent healthcare services by providing, promoting and encouraging treatment utilizing patient beliefs.
