Many people from different countries came to the US and suddenly changed in a short period of time. Since America is very different from many other countries, parents occasionally fear this. They think that good people become bad people. I am a junior of Blair High School. I am from El Salvador. I am here two and a half. My life is different when I am in my country. I changed greatly from former people, but I think that I changed a very good way.
In my country, I like to stay with my friends after school. I do not want to do homework either. I also like to party, when I meet people I do not like, I always play at school and elsewhere. Even if I go home late, there are more freedom to go to the party. But since my arrival in America, my life has changed a lot. I do not have to go anywhere, I always need to stay home. My father will not let me go to the party or friends' house, so I have to stay in my room forever. I have to stay home forever
At first, when I came here, I did not like it. Because I felt like he was in the house with my father. My idea has changed now. I feel my life has improved. I am going to church now, this is the main reason why I changed my mind. When I feel God in my mind, I feel that being at home is not that bad.
Now my performance is higher than the result of my country. Now I look at my past and think about it if I am in my country, I think maybe I may have a child or married life is terrible, I want to Not
But my experience is different for everyone. Blair high school students believe that it is not a good idea to come to the United States from time to time. "When I was in my country, my dream was to earn money in America, to be alone, to accompany me was anyone else," says Arely. She is hoping that her family is proud of her, but now her dream has changed. "Unfortunately, I am here now, I have to work, but I have never made my opinion before."
Living in America changed her to a sad one. "Because I live alone, I miss my family and my country," Arely said. I feel that she has lost her own culture and family since I came to this country. But Arely wishes that she will leave her again in a place somewhere not far. She wants to go back with her family and start over.
Arely believe that some people think that going to another house is our best choice, but sometimes there are things that go wrong as our thoughts have changed significantly. However, Arely has a philosophy about it. "There is something I want to change who I can not do," Alerie says.
By the way, America has not changed and has changed in our eyes in the past 20 years or so. Do you know that six people who won the Nobel Prize in the United States in 2016 are all immigrants? Do you know that most of American universities are led by foreign born scholars? Do you know that a foreign-born professor occupies nearly 40% of an American professor in engineering? Did you know that 51% of US $ 100 million start-up companies were made by immigrants? Do you know that a hospital of a reasonable size can not be found without an immigration inspector in the United States? Did you know that the American, Spanish, South American workers are not working, you can not find the construction site in the USA? Do you know that the US will outsource only 3 million jobs to the world in 2015 to purchase cheaper and better workforce at a market price of 25 cents to 1 dollar? Do you know that immigrants are moving real estate markets and real estate prices in the US?
I just want to say, the situation changed in the past 10 years. Since 2007 when the price of natural gas has risen sharply, it may be surprising that the United States has not renewed its energy policy. There are no doubts that many bills hampered by bipartisan confrontation and lack of action were tried ... and failed in parliament. The Energy Policy Modernization Act in 2015 was very quick (from the perspective of legislation of Congressional dispute). After some discussion, it was approved by the Senate in April 2016. A month later, the bill passed several changes in the House of Representatives and returned to the Senate for approval.
