Last year my friend and I decided to hitchhike from Los Angeles to San Francisco. We both have experience in this field. In addition, my friend hitch hiked to Los Angeles in New York.
When we started, we were filled with hope for a quick and easy way. But we are not lucky. No one comes to pick us up within a few hours. Then we changed our logo to "Santa Barbara" instead of San Francisco (a small town near Los Angeles).
It helped a wonderful woman share her ride with Santa Barbara with us. We had a very enjoyable conversation and later she sent us to Santa Barbara.
4 PM, we are worried about seeing a new car panicking and finally being in the middle of the dark in the dark.
A new driver who drove with us was not found When we began to take pictures of superb sunset, my friend gave up his GO pro to the driver and shouted "Stoop". Nikita could not believe that he had lost all his photos from New York to Los Angeles. In addition, he is really angry because he wants to make movies with their videos and photos.
Ironically, we walked in the middle of the street in the dark. He began looking for his camera and I tried to find a new vehicle for us. In vain, he noticed that his camera was lost and could not be found with such a high bush.
A few minutes later, a man approached us and asked if help needed. He was amazed at our adventure and traveled. We are very pleased to accept it and travel with him. As he was worried that night hitchhikes were dangerous at night, he invited us to sleep at his house. We were tired, but in the morning we decided to move to San Francisco at least.
We were very fortunate and soon found the next person, and to their surprise, he was heading straight to San Francisco.
We spent 16 hours rather than traveling with ordinary cars and buses but it was worth 100%. We experienced a lot of emotions, encountered many wonderful people, and impressed the favor of others.
A story written by an American driver who has a free rider everyday. He has some rules for himself. For experienced hitchhiker players, they may sound funny, but they will look beautiful in the hearts of people who pick up free riders everyday. "Every morning, every night, you can see people returning to Gallup hitchhiking at Gallo 602."
Roald Dahl's "Hitchhiker" is about a writer who owns a whole new car. The author drove his new car to London. On the way he set a free rider. Free rider is participating in horse racing. Hitchhiker encourages authors to go faster as they are traveling on the road. Then they were stopped by the police. The police handed the writer a speeding ticket. The police wrote their name on his book. Free rider stole that book, so there is no evidence of speeding. Show more
If you have a number of violent people running around while you are hitchhiking, the less people you pick up, the more dangerous people hitchhiking. It drives itself itself so that it does not exist. Basically no one ever hitchhikes. And this way almost disappeared. Do you think this is the real social value? Hitchhiker is economically effective as it allows more people to enter the car. As a matter of fact, you have a certain number of random crazy people who will hurt you. As long as you have the same number of random crazy people, you have the same number of violent crimes, and it seems to me that it does not change anything elimination of ride . Therefore, this is a social change protecting individuals. In other words, do not pick up and do not hitchhike. I am not a madman. I am doing this to protect myself. However, protecting ourselves is not worth society.
There should be a missing story in this space. This is a story about how I and my wife made hitchhikers when we ran across Iceland and the amazing interaction experienced when free riders entered the car outside Reykjavik. And forever entered our memory, we gave us a story that we would like to convey for the rest of our lives. But I am not here and I never write this story forever. I have a good reason to not tell a story - because we have never found a free rider in Iceland. This is not because there is no opportunity. As we traveled on the south coast two lane road of the country, dozens of young people saw their thumb facing the sky.
