Haunted America, the Value of History

In the article "Haunted America", Patricia Nelson Limerick wonders if society has some benefit to benefit historical knowledge. Limerick repeatedly objected to the view on the usefulness of history. She implied that she could learn a lot of lessons from history. However, Limerick was disappointed with the human race because he was unable to learn from others' mistakes. Therefore, she wondered, "What can we gain in addition to resurrection and recovery" (Limmerick, 473).

The United States has a particularly interesting history and haunted house; due to the vastness of the United States, these harassment can be traced back to the establishment of the country or more recently. In fact, as far as the haunted house in the United States is concerned, the stories behind it are unbelievable in many cases, but in almost all cases the events that are said to have caused these events are said to be correct. This beautiful pre-war mansion was built in Greek resurrection style in 1856, and was purchased by John McGee Parkman in 1864. In the years after the end of the civil war, Parkman was arrested and imprisoned on cotton speculation. In prison, Parkman tried to escape, but was shot in the process. When his wife was forced to sell their house a few years after his death, his ghost began to appear all over the house and on the ground until today.

It was the same as quail in the 1930s, a haunted house based on Halloween originally began to appear in the United States. In the late 1950s, the house as the main attraction began to appear first in California. San Mateo Haunted House was opened in 1957 and is sponsored by the main support agencies of the child care facility. San Bernardino Aid Alliance Haunted House was opened in 1958. From 1962 to 1963, the plight of my hometown appeared nationwide. In 1964, the San Manteo haunted house and the haunted house of the children's museum in Indianapolis opened.
