I respect Harriet Tubman as my ancestor and I regard her heritage as my own example. Tubman is very intensely convinced that freedom is not enough for her freedom; she wants everyone to be free with her. She returned to slavery again and again, but still some of the slaves were afraid to leave. She explained, "I released 1000 slaves, I explained that if only they knew they were slaves, I could release more than 1000 slaves." did.
