He was born in Telugu family and got a master's degree in philosophy at the time of graduation. He wrote - "Philosophy of Rabindranas Tagore", this is his first book in 1917 and put Indian philosophy on the map of the world. Later he taught at Chennai Presidential University and the University of Calcutta. From 1931 to 1936 he also served as Vice President of Andorra Pradesh University. In 1936, Dr. Rada Krishnan was invited to teach eastern religion and ethics at Oxford University. He was in this position for 16 years.
