The cellular network is a way to delicately extend the service. The given market is divided into cells, each with a base station. These stations are usually placed in the tower to improve line of sight with mobile phone users, receive radio signals and send them. Base stations are usually connected by wire and are connected to a network that provides ordinary telephone service. The advantages of this architecture are extensive. The base station's computer checks to see if the phone is allowed to use the network. The base station covers an area called a cell. A phone can move between different cells, but it can only communicate with one cell at a time. That's why mobile communications are sometimes called cellular communications. When connected to the radio, the phone can make a phone call. Because the network knows that the phone is connected to that particular cell, you can also route the call to the mobile phone. Wireless connection to the cell may be lost, such as going to the basement. This means that the phone can not make or receive calls until the connection is reestablished.
