In the tragedy of Shakespeare, Hamlet gave a lot of details to develop male characters in the drama. For example, the spiritual and emotional problems of the hero are clearly explained to the audience. This is not the case for ladies who are doing showers; viewers can design their own views of Gertrude and Ophelia based on their imagination. Many critics explained the character of Gertrude from one extreme to the other extreme.
