If there is not someone in the vicinity, people can not actually exist, as a game without supporting characters may not succeed. Horatio and Ophelia are often considered "supporting actors" in dramas. They spend little time on the stage, and when their character seems to be unimportant, but their real purpose is far greater. The roles of Horatio and Ophelia have two different functions in the play. Horatio is used as a foil for Hamlet, Hamlet discusses his behavior and behaves like his real self.
Horatio is a friend of Hamlet. Hamlet is the best friend of Hamlet throughout the play. Unlike Rosencrantz, Guildenstern and even Ophelia, Horatio is a man who has never betrayed Hamlet. His loyalty is so strong that he plans even to live his life so he does not have the life of Hamlet. But Hamlet prevented Himret from doing this, but he was able to tell the story of what happened and to keep Hamlet's "injured name" alive so that he could continue to live Horatio I asked them. (Please read Horatio 's extended role analysis.)
Unlike dying Hamlet, there is no Horatio talking about the story of Ophelia. Through scripts, it is through Ophelia that Hamlet's mischief talks are closely related to us. Ophelia explains and explains Hamlet 's madness but she is not sure about her story, as she is completely contradictory about the information she received about her identity and behavior. Therefore, Ophelia inevitably suffers from self-destructive insanity long before his father dies or is rejected by Hamlet. After considering my attention to these roles I was confused about the whole script. What really happened, why? There are many possibilities for roles, so you can see why Hamlet is doing so many different explanations. But I can understand why the character is doing this. I read this script at high school and read it twice at university, but I always thought that Hamlet was completely funny.
