In 2010, Habitat AmeriCorps Build-a-Thon was held at Cedar Rapids, Iowa hosted by Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity. Cedar Valley Habitat hosted this event for the second consecutive year. More than 500 habitat for Americans AmeriCorps National and AmeriCorps VISTA members gathered from across the country, built more than 20 houses, repaired and repaired.
