Guns and Teen Violence and Death

Every year, guns end lives of thousands of young people. Family and friends can only deal with lost lives and cast shadows on violence. Nearly 80% of teenage deaths are the result of violent cases such as murder, suicide car accident, and other accidental injuries ("risk and protection"). In the past 30 years, juvenile violence has increased by nearly 300% ("American boys violence"). 1) It is still rising.
