Gun Prevention Act

This bill enacts strict laws concerning the biography survey of the gun registration industry for gun purchasers. The benefit of the law is to lower the suicide rate, prevent young people from wearing weapons, and focus on the ownership of psychiatric guns. Congress found and announced in 2011 that approximately 33,000 Americans have become victims of gun-related deaths here. Although gun violence has become a serious problem in the United States, it has been found that the number of deaths has decreased due to gun-related violence in countries applying more stringent gun control laws.

Brady law, also known as the law on the prevention of firearms violence in 1994, is trying to develop a series of national standards to promote the safe use of firearms and to reduce gun violence (GVPA, 1994). These include pistol license and registration, strict regulation of licensed manufacturers, importers and distributors as well as laws prohibiting the sale of semi-automatic aggressive weapons and other dangerous weapons (GVPA , 1994). Pistol's license and registration is the biggest problem of the bill. For citizens who purchase pistols, they must first obtain a national license. Permits are lost and stolen, regulating issuance and withdrawal of reported pistol and pistol ammunition (GVPA, 1994). The permit must be issued by the state's chief law enforcement officer and must include information about the principal including photo, license number, age, birth date, address (GVPA 1994). Federal Brady Act In 1993, Congress enacted the Brady Pistol Violence Prevention Act (Bridi Act). It requires that all Federally approved gun dealers obtain confirmation of the criminal record of gun buyers before completing the sale. In most cases, the examination is done through a national immediate crime history research system or "NICS" consisting of several computer databases managed by FBI. One of the databases is the National Criminal Information Center Protection Order Document. This includes information on state protection orders and state criminal records.
