Gun Control Laws Will NOT Reduce Crime

Some people believe that very strict gun control laws preclude crime, but the gun control law only prevents "good people" from getting guns. Whether you are a black market, cross-border sales, illegal street sales, criminals can always get weapons. The new gun control law will not stop them. Since the shooting of Columbine High School, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, the frequency of large shooting has increased dramatically. Gun control is ineffective as it does not indicate that it actually decreases the number of crimes related to firearms.

Most Americans believe gun control law will help reduce crime rate, because latency gives people time to cool their mood. They also believe that the control of guns can prevent repetition of criminals. Because when a person tries to buy a pistol, he has to fill out a long questionnaire. The questionnaire includes questions about the purchaser's past, such as whether there are records of criminal records or psychosis. If there is a criminal record in the history of that person, he can not purchase. Since guns are most commonly used for robbery and murder, crime is also reduced by limiting ownership of pistols (Mayer 28). It is easy to hide under the jacket even on the pants belt.

Whether gun control would reduce the crime rate facts, gun control did not significantly reduce crime. In fact, strict gun control does not prevent criminals from gaining guns. Only citizens who adhere to the law can comply with the law. By contrast, criminals do not comply with the gun control law because they do not comply with many other laws. Advocates of guns believe that crime decreases as the number of available guns decreases, but research suggests the opposite. - When you are ready to go to bed, please imagine the murderer who is outside the house. Are you ready to protect your family and yourself? Many of today's societies can protect themselves in any dangerous situation because they can have their own guns. Thieves and murderers are more difficult to enter the house as they know that the owner of the gun lives in a particular house. Many people can not legally own a gun for various reasons, such as criminal record and violence.

The gun control law is aimed at restricting or regulating firearms by selecting who can sell, purchase and possess a particular gun. Criminals are not in compliance with the law and more stringent gun control laws and firearm bans have little impact on crime reduction. There are many god stories about gun control to reduce violence by guns. People are responsible for the crime, not the guns themselves. There are many reasons to use guns to deprive them from US citizens.
