Illegal sale of alcohol spiked during the ban, so if the gun is banned the same will not happen. The Ministry of Justice conducted a survey in 18 years and showed an increase in gun sales. This is related to the reduction of gun murder. According to the survey, the number of gun-related murders decreased by 39% between 1993 and 2011. The stricter enactment of gun control law infringes the right to carry weapons and hinders citizens from defending themselves in the face of life-threatening situations.
I am a gun owner, and from time to time I may surprise the viewer who is talking about gun control from social media. Of course I am talking about freedom of individuals, but I think that this is a model of views on most guns of Americans. There is no doubt that gun violence has occurred in the United States, as there is a tragic record that heavy slaughter was done in Orlando this weekend (not to mention the murder of the YouTube character Christina Grimmie within 24 hours ). But you do not know how each side of the discussion uses them to push their "gunless" or "unlimited gun" extreme agenda.
Abstract: Large-scale shooting incidents in the United States gather widespread media attention and public attention, causing discussions about gun control. Media coverage and academic research on gun control attitudes and response to large-scale shooting incidents paid little attention to the role of religion. Recent studies have revealed complex relationships between religion and guns, with high gun ownership, including strong opposition from White Evangelical Protestants to gun control. This survey uses survey data represented nationwide to show that among the support of a series of gun control policies including religious identity, gun ownership, and suggested remedies for large shooting I examined the relationship. Compared with other religious traditions, evangelical Protestants are most opposed to more stringent gun control laws and enforcement, even though they have dominated gun ownership and demographic characteristics.
Media analysts and researchers often use rural and urban Americans, owner of cancer and owner of non-cancer, non-white and non-Caucasian, cultural and political between liberal and conservatives I discuss the discussion of gun control as a cause of inconsistency. Current research shows that these variables are related to gun control attitudes in a predictable way. My findings also show that religion contributes to personal understanding of gun violence and gun regulation. The Evangelical Protestant has consistently opposed the more stringent gun control laws and has further supported liberal gun control. By contrast, other religious traditions of Americans, especially the Protestant, Catholics, and non-religious people of the Black have consistently supported the strict gun control law. It is noteworthy that differences in these groups still exist, even if many demographic characteristics and gun ownership are managed. Supporters of various religious groups in the United States also have completely different views on mass shooting.
