Gun Control: Not Fair to the People Trying to Protect Themselves

Civilians use guns at least 989,883 times a year to protect themselves and others (Agresti and Smith). Needless to say, thousands of women use guns every year to protect themselves from sexual offenses. Based on these statistics and data, it is clear that guns are more beneficial than evil, and in most cases it is even possible to prevent evil from happening.
