Who is the monster - Beowulf or Glendell. My first impression on Beowulf is a mysterious and somewhat esoteric work, the only way to read more important works. After reading this popular epic carefully, I received revelation. Other revelations: Beowulf is wonderful. Perhaps it is translation, or it may be the basic content of the work itself, but I discovered that myself greedy the poem. I found two attractive areas: 1) the basic attractiveness of prototype superheroes and 2) regaining this particular experience experience through more modern trends in modern culture, popular novels and movies I try to do.
Grendel - the protagonist and narrator of the novel. Glendel is a great bear-like monster, the first person among the three monsters who defeated the Geatish hero Beowulf in the sixth century poem, Beowulf. In Glendell, he is a lonely creature trying to understand the seemingly meaningless world around him. As an outsider, Glendell provides observations and comments about the human civilization he is fighting for. Hrothgar - King of the Danish people. Hrothgar maintained a strong and prosperous kingdom until Grendel began threatening the area. In Beowulf, Hrothgar is a model of kingdom power, but in Glendell he is more flawed and human. Glendel often describes his war with humans as a personal battle between Hrothgar and himself.
In Beowulf, Beowulf is fighting against three different monsters. The first monster he fought was Grendel, the second was the mother of Glendell, and the third was the dragon. Each fight shows an important part of Beowulf. The struggle with Glendell shows his power, the struggle with the mother of Glendell shows his weakness, and the struggle with the Dragon showed his death and the birth of a new hero. The fight against Glendell shows the power of Beowulf. Glendel kills a lot of people, many of whom are devils trying to kill him. Everyone who tries to kill Glendel always wears armor and uses weapons. Beowulf said that he will not use weapons. I boasted that he was stronger than anyone. In the battle, Beowulf is said to be the strongest person in history. "The evil captain discovered that his possession was more difficult than he encountered anyone on the planet" (749-752)
Fighting Beowulf 's Glendell: Beowulf heard about the horrible Danish loot monster Glendell. He decided to visit this area to fight Glend and save the Danish people. King Danish Hrothgar welcomed Beowulf and gave him information about Grendel. After all, Beowulf confronted Glendell and acquired a fatal monster. Beowulf had to face Glendel's mother. And the mother tried to get revenge on her son's death. Grendel's mother went to Heroto and took it with one of the most reliable fighters of King Hero King. King asked Beowulf to help destroy Glendel's mother. The warrior chased Glendell's mother to his residence and fought against monsters
