Also known as GPC, the Canadian Green Party is a small Canadian federal party known for promoting ecological wisdom. GPC was founded in Ottawa in November 1983 and now has a seat in the House. GPC is extremely ambitious to comply with Western German Greens as West German Greens won 27 seats. . In 2000, GPC received only 0.8% of votes and won zero seat in the House of Representatives.

There are two reasons why the Green Party has not yet acquired an important position in Canada. The first reason for not winning an important position is that Canada's green parties are still relatively new. The Canadian green party is still in his teens and is only 25 years old.
