Phoebe Philo British fashion designer Phoebe Philo is known for his superb but unobtrusive design. Passion for her fashion began at a young age and continued learning designs at St. Martin. After graduation, Philo moved to Paris as a design assistant for Stella McCartney to enter ChloƩ's house. She succeeded as a creative director of the McCartney brand in 2001 and started her first pret - a - porter collection in October that year.
