This lesion represents incomplete (grade II) or complete (grade III) rupture of collagen fibers connecting the ends of the femur (femur) and the tibia (calf bone).
The most common cause is excessive tension in ligaments on the knee side (outside) during exercise (such as skiing or soccer) or falling.
A typical symptom is pain outside the outside of the knee joints or tenderness. Stiffness, swelling, weakness affects the function of the limbs
Ice application is often repeated from 20 to 30 minutes and it is repeated 3 to 4 times a day (see note below).
Do not lay on ice. I spared the ice lavishly for the first 48-72 hours. Note: There is a nerve near the skin surface of the ligament area. If there are numbness in the legs of the calves or calves during icing, please lay a damp cloth between the skin and ice to prevent nerve damage.
As it is unusual, injuries associated with knee cartilage (medial meniscus or lateral meniscus) or ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) affect recovery and may require surgery
Mild stiffness and pain lasting six months are not unusual, but the expected recovery usually occurs between 3 and 3 months depending on the severity of the injury.
Ligament damage is called a sprain. The American Orthopedic Society defines ACL damage based on severity and classifies it as Grade 1, Grade 2, or Grade 3 sprain. Although the ligament grows slightly, a level 1 sprain occurs, but the stability of the knee joint is not affected. When the ligament grows flat, a level 2 sprain will occur; this is also known as partial laceration. When the ligament is totally torn in two parts, a level 3 sprain occurs and the knee joint no longer stabilizes. This is the most common type of ACL damage
Joint sprain: ligament rupture from grade 1 (secondary) to grade 3 (complete laceration). A joint sprain may occur if the ligament is stretched too much or the joint is bent in the wrong direction. A typical example is to scroll the ankle. It is not unusual to undergo multiple ligament injuries at the same time. Stress fracture: incomplete fracture. In dance, they are usually caused by repeated landings. For X-rays, it looks like a thin line through the bone. To relieve stress fractures, we will relieve the effects on broken bones by resting. This usually means to interrupt the dance. The deputy is the result of a stress fracture
Ankle sprains were injured three times in the range of 1 to 3 times. The degree of ankle sprain depends on the amount of rupture or stretching of the ligament. Primary sprains are classified as slight extension and damage to ligament fibers. Grade 2 sprains are characterized by partial tearing of the ligament and abnormal relaxation of the ankle. A grade 3 sprain is characterized by the ligament being torn completely, and when ligaments are pushed or pulled during a certain exercise, it may become very unstable. Movement of the ankle is abduction, abduction, foot sole bending, back bending and varus, vulva. The ligaments of the ankle joint hold the tibia and joint in place. See more
