Governor’s Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest

As Hispanic tradition continues, many organizations celebrate this month and are looking for ways to help students find university funds. In order to fulfill his role, Governor Rickscott and First Lady Anscot encourage students to participate in their annual Hispanic Heritage Month Essay Competition.

In the United States from September 15th to October 15th, this is the traditional month of Hispanics, during which people recognize the contributions of Hispanic Americans and Hispanic Americans to society. For this reason, the governor and his wife hold a competition every year so students across Florida have the opportunity to learn and recognize the many influential Hispanic Americans who formed Florida. The contest is open to all students from 4th grade to 12th grade and is currently educated at public or private schools in Florida or at home. A 500-word article (English) focused on "creation of creative Hispanic leaders" while focusing on Hispanic scientists, inventors, scholars, or educators that influence Florida. The article must show that the student has a deep understanding of the subject and historical background.

In a separate paper of 200 to 250 words we are answering about the reasons why students should receive scholarships, future plans, and what I have done recently (6 months) to support my community.

A recommendation letter of 250 words or less that explains why the students deserve scholarships and the reasons they stand out from their colleagues

The package must be submitted before the deadline, all the documents must be completed, the paper must have a source that refers to the MLA style, and the article will be described in the package Must have an appropriate title for.

The winner will be notified after Monday, 22 October and will be awarded in the traditional Spanish moon celebration of the governor at Tallahassee. Travelers and accommodation expenses will be paid to winners and their close relatives. Winners will also be awarded the Florida University Program Scholarship for four years from the Florida Prepaid University Foundation.
