Gov Jane Hull

Jane Dee Hull was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 8, 1935. Governor Haru married Dr. Terry Hull. Dr. Hull works 32 times in the medical field at Pheonix and is currently a consultant. Dr. Hull and Dr. Hull have four children and eight grandchildren. Governor General Hull received a bachelor's degree in basic education at the University of Kansas and a postgraduate degree in political science and economics at Arizona State University. She graduated from Josephson School of Ethics.

Jane Addams is best known for being a famous activist, social worker, writer, and Nobel Peace Prize winner, founded Hall House in Chicago, Illinois. Hull House is a progressive social solution designed to reduce poverty by providing social welfare services and education to working class immigrants and workers (Harvard University Library, nd). Jane Adams was born in Cedarville, Illinois in 1860 and graduated from Rockford University in 1882. During his trip to London in 1888, Adams visited Colony Twinby Hall (Harvard University Library, n.d.). Her experience at Toynbee Hall was motivated to rebuild Chicago's social service model.

In 1889, Jane Addams and Ellen Gates Starr established The Hull House, the most famous village in America. Hull House is in the culturally diverse community of Chicago and welcomes those who need help. Inhabitants of Hall House provide public education programs to all of the community, as well as social services such as public kitchens, public baths, nursery schools, etc. In the latter half of the 19th century, a comprehensive social work education program began to materialize. Among them, Columbia University and New York University of Technology developed and provided the first social work classes. In 1904, Boston Simons College tied up with Harvard University to establish the Boston Social Worker School. Simmons is the first university to offer training to clinical social workers.

In 1889, Jane and her college friend Ellen Star established Hall House, a place where people can start voluntarily. Hull house is mainly a welfare facility for poor families and fighting juvenile delinquency by providing recreational facilities for children living in slums. It also aims to help the majority of the foreign-born Chicago population, learn English, become a citizen of the United States. Hull House first occupied an aging manor house that originally belonged to Chicago businessman Charles J. Hull. By 1907, the settlement included 13 new buildings and covered the entire block.
