Survey program The purpose of this project is to evaluate the change of the medieval Christian church. In the magnificent historical plan, the Christian church turned into a so-called Gothic style building, which was deeply influenced by Islamic architecture. The Gothic church itself is an elaborate church that has much to do with entering the Renaissance period. In this survey, the project focuses on the structure of the Gothic cathedral and analyzes the changes made to the transition to Gothic architecture and how it will lead to the Italian Renaissance.
Milan Cathedral is a very large and sophisticated Gothic Cathedral in Milan's main square, one of Europe's most famous buildings. It is one of the largest Gothic style churches in the world. The building began in 1386 and was led by the archbishop Antonio da Saluzzo, but the late Gothic style is characteristic of the French style rather than the Italian style. It took me five centuries to complete the famous cathedral. The medieval Seville Cathedral was built on the ruins of the magnificent Almohad Mosque, showing off the power and wealth of the city after the Reconquista. When it was built in the 16th century, it replaced the Hagia Sophia and became the world's largest church. It is still the world's largest gothic cathedral and the third cathedral. Construction workers used the pillars and elements of the mosque, in particular the minarets remodeled to Girarda and Clock Tower.
Cologne Cathedral (KölnerDom) is the largest Gothic Cathedral in Germany and has become the most famous landmark of Cologne for centuries. It was once the tallest building in the world, but still there is still the largest façade. The famous cathedral is on the premises of the Roman temple in the 4th century, followed by the church appointed by the first Christian bishop of Cologne, Cologne. Construction of the Gothic church began in 1248 and it was completed after over 600 years of interruption. It is dedicated to the saints Peter and Mary and is the seat of the Catholic Archbishop of Cologne.
Notre Dame Cathedral is the highest Gothic church in France and the largest church. In addition to Chartres and Reims Cathedral, Amiens is a member of the famous "high Gothic" or "classic" French Cathedral triad built in the 13th century. Amiens Cathedral was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. It is beautifully harmonized art and architecture. According to the local legend, Amiens' first church was founded by St. Philmin, a disciple of St. Satu Luminas of Toulouse. After his martyrdom, he was handed down to another person named Firmin. He was known as Confessor St. Philmin. I do not know anything about these Firmins; their biographies were invented in the Middle Ages.
