Born in Frankfurt, Germany on August 28, 1749, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe received extensive counseling on languages. Goethe's father, a lawyer, gives priority to the education of his son, allowing him to participate in many literary and cultural activities. Goethe was fascinated by writers like Homer and Orbit and kept in mind all parts of these texts.
