Goals for Every English Student

English - English programs have several objectives: to promote the ability of each student to effectively write in various ways, to promote understanding and evaluation of great classical and contemporary literature. The 9th grade program of the world provides the foundation for all students to read and write. In literature, the focus is on the classics of Western culture. In the 10th grade, I focus on writing. We encourage practicing analysis and personal writing when each person tries to discover their style and sound with various excellent texts. Approximately two thirds of elective courses are AP, and the others are advanced courses.

Target AP The goal of the English literature and composition course is to encourage students to critically read, write, discuss, and be full of energy and imagination about their work. As they have become accustomed to various literary methods, students can develop and shape their own style reflecting personal values ​​and preferences. If students' knowledge and love for literature increases, they can think, feel, stimulate, and read more. As with all teachers, members of the AP English Literature Development Committee want students to participate in the reading and writing tasks they present, but the individual teacher's curriculum does not exist in the air. In other words, students will take other English courses and arrive at different levels of responsiveness before arrival. However, at the end of the course, most students in the class need to prepare to take the AP exam.
