In my opinion, when a person becomes a hero for war action, it will not beautify the war and urge people to pursue war. Over the years, people have recognized the terms and aspects of warfare; this is another driving force of war. People who are regarded as heroes do not admire the war
Over the years, people became more aware of the characteristics of war. This is mainly due to the existence of media. At the beginning of the First World War, media coverage was limited to newspapers, radio and news. Information that reaches the general public is what the government wants to publish. As a result, it is easy to be considered heroic in war. In contemporary wars, citizens saw the video report of terrible circumstances and learned more about what is happening. With this knowledge, I believe that citizens will not pursue war for the heroic behavior of others.
For example, if an awful car crash observer braces himself to great danger and bravely rescues someone from a burning car, they are regarded as heroes. However, this is not to beautify the car accident, nor motivate people to look for car accidents so that they can act bravely.
There are many factors that will encourage people to participate in the war. People often feel that they have responsibility to serve and protect their country. Another factor that can make people participate in war is military employment or education. Another remarkable factor that people drive to pursue war is family values and traditions. The most common thing is that people choose not to intentionally seek war but to join the army, which in turn can cause war. From my point of view, the prospect of becoming the hero can not make people fight
Heroism did not lead to beautification of war. Personal actions do not reflect their performance. I believe that people choose to join the war for other reasons.
The theme of "Iliad" is to praise the war. Since all the characters are judged by their ability, courage, and courage of fighting, there is a view that the novel can celebrate the war. This judgment extends to the gods, so this poem seems to support war. Iliad insists that fighting means respecting honor and courage. In addition, this verse insists that war is dominant in family life and must always be given top priority in family members. (Minchin 1986)
A magnificent story such as Iliad should allow anyone to begin to combine glory and war. From the viewpoint of the reader, we read a society that has been highly admired against the war act. The soldiers are fearless and courageous and are thought to be addicted to the loot they defeated them. There are two conflicting aspects, Greeks and Trojans, that took part in this magnificent story. Both sides explained that there is a just good reason to fight; however, the Trojans began war of love and stayed to protect their homeland; however, the Greeks had a great deal of honor and power (Quoted memo) for the fight. Achilles and Hector are the two main heroes in the story, so they are also foils (opposite). Drawing their personal stories in books is the reason to allow other characters and scenarios to evolve. The problem with this idea is that the most likely outcome of a person who is passionate about the hero is death.
