Globalization and Health Issues

Globalization is the process of promoting national integration into the world, prospering throughout the world. Domestic ideas, services, product technology, capital flow are not new, but the process over the past 10 years means a drop in quality in the past. As the speed of technological innovation has accelerated, super-national guidelines become important, and cost and trade liberalization become increasingly important, globalization makes national policies and economies more competitive than ever did.

The health problem of the world is beyond the border. The World Health Issues (GHI) is beyond the borders (Koplan et al., 2009). These problems require global cooperation in response, planning, prevention, preparation and care, reflecting the issue of fairness among health among countries. GHI requires a complex interdisciplinary and interagency collaboration, as well as a solution that includes solutions including governments, nonprofit organizations and private companies and foundations. GHI has a stronger understanding of our connection in today's world than before.

In December, Health Services Research (HSR) magazine on world health problems sponsored by Yale University was issued. This issue of HSR is the first issue fully dedicated to global health and in the forum for researchers, medical professionals and academics, medical service research, on-site and global health topic between It shows the importance of potential interaction. Many medical service areas and frameworks can contribute to global healthcare activities, especially in ongoing efforts to strengthen medical systems. In this special issue of HSR, we published outstanding research results in several major fields in the health field of the world and explained the value of various fields in tackling key research subjects in this field.
