Globalization, Institutions and Social Cohesion

La Sapienza "at the University of Rome holds conferences on important topics of economic theory and policies through exchange of opinions not only within that department but also with academics from Italian and foreign research institutions, We are promoting. Economic globalization clearly falls within this category. Consider only the new difficulties in the widespread impact and impact of globalization, the scope of tools needed for its analysis, and the impact on the welfare of the people involved, and in the methods and results of public and regulatory intervention . Therefore, on this topic, the Department of Public Economics invited a group of scholars who deeply participated in the problem of economic globalization in order to make a direct confrontation. The purpose of this conference is to deepen our understanding of this phenomenon and the specific impact it will have on the developed economies of our continent and to develop recommendations for action at national and national level. This volume gathers the contributions submitted at this meeting, and from 15th to the conference "Globalization, Institution and Social Cohesion" will introduce the discussion at "La Sapienza" economics school at the university of Rome. In "Societal Unity in the World" seminar sponsored by Mr. Rob Vos of the Economic and Social Development Policy Analysis Bureau and Eva Jespersen of the United Nations Development Program, "Seminar on Global Development in 2012: Social Cohesion in Change" report I outlined cooperation. And Development Organization (OECD). The OECD Global Development Outlook (PGD) is part of a series of new publications from the OECD Development Center. Each edition identifies, analyzes and provides viable policy solutions to key global development challenges. The previous edition of "Transfer of Wealth" announced in 2010 examines the impact of the emerging economies' emergence on development, inequality and poverty. 2011 will call for citizens of the world to transfer justice and extensive mobilization and provide opportunities to discuss the importance of social cohesion in fast growing developing countries.

Social unity is an important focus in the field of globalization. Neo-liberalism makes use of social relations as place competition in the world market. This leads to lack of cooperation and does not constitute collective benefit. However, a guaranteed state - state - social unit established by the massive growth of the global space makes this unity viable. Globalization may encourage an uprising of social unity, but it could lead to opposition. As Scholte (2004) suggests, how does global civil society destroy rather than promote social integration? Global progress can lead to lack of intimacy, as technology advances can promote Web conferences and individual meetings, but this is a thing of the past. The company adheres to a limited long-term commitment, and workers restrict local opportunities before labor market demand

Social cohesion is often confused with social inclusion. Comprehensive mechanisms include employment, education systems, and rights and policies designed to promote fairness, happiness and social protection. In this case, social cohesion can be understood from both the effectiveness of the established social inclusion mechanism and the behavior and value judgment of members of society. Behavioral and value judgments include issues such as confidence in institutions, social capital, ownership and solidarity, acceptance of social rules, willingness to participate in the review process and collective efforts.
