Like Jeanette Walls revealed her childhood story, she has little detail on her review, in particular, she does not have all the drawbacks her found in her father. When the reader entered her earliest memory scene, her mother's irrational thought process was immediately exposed. Trying to cook a hot dog, the infant becomes a fire. Her mother drove her to the emergency room and her severe burns were treated. However, the complexity of her complicated story became intensified as her remaining family members entered the scene.
Boli Castle is a memoir of Jeanette Walls and tells a beautiful but tragic story in her life. This memoir defines families who should not face alcoholism, poverty and living below human standards. I think that Glass Castle best represents Janet's efforts to live in the present way. This memoir shows Wilds's ignorance of children in childhood. This book explains Janet's very nice book from her own point of view and records her smallest memory of her life. Each family of the Walls family is different, so the role is perfect. The plot is very developed as Janet's story begins with the first negligence as she must make her own hot dog at the age of 3.
Alcoholism and child abuse are common problems in today's society, but alcohol is a more general problem. The glass castle clearly shows the reality of the adult child abuse effects and the permanent impact on children's children; if necessary it is difficult to get rid of the domino effect, or vicious circle. In any case, alcoholism and child abuse act like fuel and fire. . The first person who advocated alcoholism as a disease was Benjamin Rush (1785-1843) and he even proposed to establish a hospital to help treat the disease (Cox, 1987). Since rush, the definition of alcoholism has increased. It includes a statistical summary (1979) that alcohol is defined as a person whom he can not always choose his body.
