In 1461 he moved to Venice and after completing a request for residence status for 15 years on March 28, 1476, he became a citizen of Venice. As a trading company employee, Cabotto frequently goes to the Mediterranean and the Mecca coast. As an experienced sailor, Cabot envisioned a wonderful discovery trip to himself.

Between 1880 and 1920, 4 million immigrants departed from Italy to the United States of America. They are mainly from the southern provinces, Italian boots heels and toes' hats. These areas are lagging behind the industrial areas in northern Italy and agriculture is modernized. The reunification of the country raised hope for the progress of the South, but this hope never was enriched
John Cabot is the most likely to be born in Italy around 1450. In Italy, he is known as Giovanni Capoto. Apart from the fact that he became a Venetian citizen (a resident of Venice) in 1476, little is not known about his early life. In the 1480's, he married a woman named Mattea and had three sons. In the 1890's, he apparently moved to escape the debt accumulated in Italy at least partly in Spain and the UK. After Columbus discovered the West Indies, Cabot began planning to reach the "Indian Islands" by navigating from north to north, where the range from Europe will be shorter. Historians think Cabot has found advocates in Bristol 's British city, Bristol is the second largest seaport in the UK. In 1496, he began preparing for a journey through the sea using Bristol as headquarters of naval operations.
John Cabot (Giovanni Caboto in Italy) may have been born in Genoa but may be from a family in Venice. About 1490 he moved to the UK and moved to Bristol Harbor. In May 1497, following the support of King Henry VII of England, Cabot departed westward from Bristol, Maryland and tried to find a way to Asia. On June 24th, he saw the land and called it a new land. He thinks that this is Asia and claims he is Britain. He returned to England and began planning the second expedition. In May, 1498 he began a further voyage with four to five fleets, with the aim of discovering Japan. The fate of the expedition is uncertain; Cabot eventually reached North America, but it is believed that he could not return to the Atlantic Ocean.
