Giovanni Caboto

Giovanni Cabot Giovanni Cabot, or the famous British John Cabot, was probably born in Genoa in Italy in 1451. John Cabot (Giovanni Caboto in Italy) may have been born in Genoa but may be from a family in Venice. About 1490 he moved to the UK and moved to Bristol Harbor.
