Giotto

Giotto di Bondone is considered one of the first artists of the Italian Renaissance, a talented painter and architect. Today his work is popular not only for his architectural style and theme, but also for his contemporaries, Italian poets Boccaccio and Sacchetti, and the famous "Divine Comedy" mentioned Dante Alighieri artist's name Michelango is also said to have studied his mural at the Peruzzi chapel.

Giotto is highly valued with breakthrough progress in traditional Byzantine style and skills he draws from life. Instead of a typical Byzantine style slimy face and stylized outfit, he uses a stereoscopic shape based on real observations and clothes that are really heavily weighted. Although he is a famous Italian Renaissance painter, his life is mysterious. His date of birth, birthplace, appearance, the order in which his work was made, and his burial place all shadowed the controversy. The fact that much of his work may not be his one actually made art historians guess many Italian murals while he was alive. His two pieces, indeed his work are frescoes of the Campanile Belfry of the Duomo in Florence and the chapel of Padua Arena. The latter mural is a combination of the style of Giotto and the interpretation of the Bible story, so it is considered one of the highest masterpieces of the early Renaissance.
