At the beginning of the epic, Gilgamesh is arrogant and selfish. He is the king of Uruk who was ruled by the iron fist. Enkidu was born in the beggars of the people of Ulq and is a wildlife. Prisoners watched him, went to Gilgamesh, and got a prostitute from him, and prostitutes taught the way to Enkidu. A few weeks later, when Enkidu heard the news about that rule, Enkidu went to find Gilgamesh king of Urk. . .
The epic of Gilgamesh is the historical story of King Urugu Gurgamessh. The story portrays a short friendship between Gilgamesh and Enkidou. At the beginning of the story, the tempting Enkidu's Shamat went to Uruk to persuade him to meet Gilgamesh. From that moment, the two were very close. They are going to the cedar forest and planning to beat the monster known as Humboba. Then Gilgamesh can show its power to Urk citizens. However, Enkidu said, "Let's discourage uselessly" (18)
The first half of the epic covers the adventures of Gilgamesh and Enkidu. They conquered and killed the Humboba god, and God put them in a cedar forest. When she tried to tempt him, Gilgamesh rejected Ishtar / I Nana. In order to revenge, Ishtar asked Enriel God to attack Gilgamesh as Heaven 's bull. But Gilgamesh and Enkidu killed the bulls who made all gods angry. The gods decided to punish Gilgamesh by the death of Enkidu. In the latter part of this epic, Gilgamesh looks for immortality because he deeply expresses condolences of Enkidou's death and his own concern. He surveyed Utnapishtim, the flood, looked for an immortal character who was a pioneer of the Bible Noah. Gilgamesh finally found Utnapishtim. He told me to accept his death as he could not change it. Gilgamesh then returned to Ulq and became a good king. According to the list of King Sumer, he reigned for 126 years.
It partially overlaps with the standard version of Tablet IX - X. Gilgamesh expresses condolences to Nidoo by being embarrassed in pursuing eternal life. Gilgamesh and Shamash argued that his mission was in vain. After the sky hole, Gilgamesh discussed his mission on his trip to Siduri and his Utnapishtim (here called Uta-na'ishtim). Siduri tried to stop Gilgamesh from seeking eternal life and urged him to be satisfied with the enjoyment of a simple life. After another sky hole, Gilgamesh destroyed the "stone man" and spoke to the ferryboat Ursanabe (here called Surna Bub). After a brief discussion, Sur-sunabu asked to sculpt 300 paddles so that he could cross the water of death without requiring "stone". I do not have the rest of the tablet
