Getting to the Zoo

You can get an orange bus at the zoo at the corner of Basilio Badillo and Constitucion. If you choose to move to the zoo like this you need to get off at the Barcelo Hotel. If you look at Los Arcos (big stone protruding from the water) in a few minutes, you can see it on the right side. Attention: Please tell the bus driver to stop him. There is a small red button behind the bus you can push to inform the driver what you want to get off!

I had an afternoon at Calgary Zoo. Unlike the Toronto Zoo, you need to use a long distance bus to get there and the Calgary Zoo is on the CTrain line. The zoo is worth visiting. There are lots of interesting animals to watch, such as penguins, giraffes, tigers and gorillas. Part of the zoo is in St. Patrick's Island. I was surprised to hear that the zoo staff rescued the animals during the flood (and the hippos were almost floating). Overall, I had a wonderful time there. Afternoon is worth spending.

Zoos should be banned as zoos may harm animals. You never know if the zoo is harmful or informative. Animals may also be vectors of insects. Diseases that they can harm animals for long-term stay in the zoo. The animals become crazy and they create something unnatural on their bodies. The zoo is an outdated concept of commercializing animals for entertainment. The zoo does not educate our children or protect our environment, but they are cruel institutions of animals being imprisoned. At the moment, in the history of our human race, we want to pour concrete onto the lawn's lawn and build a wall for wild animals.
