Getting Hep to the Beat

When Hep removes the mid 1940's, movement will begin and the generation of writers and poets will appear; they are called 'beat generation'. The "Beat Generation" movement exercised influence on the rebellious young ideas of the next generation in the 1950s and 1960s through poets and writers who did not follow social rules.

The origins of hip and hip terms are unknown. By the 1940's both were part of the lively slang of African-Americans, which means "both complex and currently popular and completely up-to-date". Beat uses the term hip joint, early hippie inherited the language of beat generation and cross-cultural value. The hippies made their own community, listened to psychedelic music, accepted the sexual revolution, and explored the change in consciousness with drugs like marijuana, LSD, cactus, and silosimbin mushroom.

A real hipster may have adopted a part of the black jazz musician 's slang, but this is to celebrate the music, women and men who created it. DiLauro who lost the beat introduced Parlor Social and entered rap driven "Bringing It", then Addison and Lee spun around her and the band moved like a creature. Then she slowly showed her money in "it's complicated" from rug time to romantic voice.
