Gestalt Psychology and Perception

Gestalt psychology was founded by German thinkers Max Weertheimer, Wolfgang Kohler, Kurt Kofuka. They will focus on how people explain the world around them. Gestalt's outlook was formed in response to Wilhelm Und structuralism, which focused on breaking down psychological events and experiences into minimal elements. Structuralists could not explain the concept of "apparent movement" and "unrealistic contours". Gestalt psychologist further recognizes that structuralism can not explain many perceptual phenomena.

From the 1930's to the 1940's, Gestalt psychology was applied to visual perception, in particular Max Wertheimer, Wolfgang Kohler, Kurt Kofuka, the so-called Gestalt perception law was born. Their purpose is to investigate global global processes involved in perceiving the structure in the environment (eg Sternberg 1996). More specifically, they try to explain human perception of object groups and explain how we perceive a part of an object and form an entire object based on this. The findings of this topic are "Gestalt rule of confidential organization". Some of the laws that are usually quoted in the Human Computer Interaction or Interaction Design community are as follows.

Gestalt psychology or format Tallinn (German: Gestalt "shape, form") is the mind philosophy of Berlin experimental psychology. Gestalt psychology tries to understand the law behind the ability to acquire and maintain meaningful recognition at a seemingly chaotic world. The central principle of Gestalt psychology is that thinking forms the whole world with self-organizing tendencies. I explained the theory on data visualization and the atomic elements for building the actual visual program. I also talked about some of the principles of visual design that can make expression more effective. Finally, there is an end-to-end example of how to apply these principles and theories to create meaningful and beautiful graphics.

The way people perceive visual images was first studied by the German psychologist Max Weertheimer (1888-1943) and gave rise to Gestalt psychology. Gestalt psychology led to visual perception of Gestalt theory. It is also the foundation of any successful design application. These gestalt principles allow designers to understand how our eyes scan and perceive the image so that they can produce a good communication design.
