The majority of George Washington Carver, known as "peanut man", was born in Diamond City, Missouri around 1864. His birth date is not certain as the birth record is not properly managed by the slave owner. Although he was sick in his childhood, no one thought that he would grow to the best agronomist in America. Unfortunately, George did not know his parents. His father died in the accident and his mother was kidnapped by a night attacker. Therefore, George was raised by his master, Moses and Susan Carver.
Contrary to the general belief, George Washington Carver did not invent the peanut butter. But he did a lot of research on peanut's new and alternative uses. After a speech by the Peanut Producers Association in 1920, he was also known as "Peanut Man" and proved the broad possibilities of peanuts. The following year, Mr. Carver testified in Congress to support the importation of peanut tariffs passed in parliament in 1922. George Washington Carver was one of many children born to Mary and Jill, and Mary and Jill were slave couples owned by Mosescuff.
