Genesis, the Education of Abraham

When disillusioned Latin students repeatedly grammarize their grammar, it often says that they translate "Per repitio nos studiare" and "by repeating our learning". It seems to be hard to believe, but since their hands start to cramp, it has some truth. As my grandfather told me, "experience is often the best teacher." It really comes from participating repeatedly to really understand something. Repetition is also the Creator of the Hebrew language - God taught Abram 's will and the concept of its nature in the story of Genesis.

The purpose of this article is to focus on the depiction of Abraham in the Galatians and Genesis, and to put it into perspective. What are the similarities and differences between Galatians and Abraham in Genesis's book of the Bible? Is Paul's interpretation of Abraham's story consistent with the story of Genesis? By investigating this problem and using the image of Abraham you can better understand Paul 's claim to the Galatians. This contribution does not include the interpretation of Abraham in the Jewish thought of Paul's era, which is the custom of commentary by Galatians (Longenecker 1990: 110-112; De Boer 2011: 187-188).
