Students who came to Shepherd University have learned much more than scholars. They mature, learn how to operate, and interact with peers

Shepherd College offers the following courses to teach each student the necessary living and work skills. The following is a description of the course name and the activities carried out in each course.

In this course, teach students everyday functions such as e-mail, using Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, using computer calendars.

This course provides students with basic life skills knowledge to help them pursue their goals of independent living. They will gain knowledge and skills to help them achieve proper independence in health care, self-medication, home care and maintenance, and family and community safety.

Students learn how to manage funds, how to create charts, how to price foods, basic methods of liquid ounces and rulers, all the standard mathematical functions and storyline issues.

This class is full of activities that help them practice social and personal skills. They practice speaking poetry in public, understand the importance of the first impression, identify positive and negative impressions, and learn how to understand each other correctly. Other tasks include time management, a way to motivate you to complete your work, the meaning of healthy lifestyle (healthy diet, exercise, sleep, personal goal setting, encouragement of others) Yes.

Distraction is one of the reasons many students fail in college. In this course, I will explain how to eliminate interference in order to finish my work. Librarian visits are done on a regular basis and you will learn how to use books cards to watch books, take notes and write papers in an appropriate format.

In this course, we prepare to interact with potential employers and colleagues. Resolve conflict resolution, listening, writing interpersonal relationships, solving verbal communication skills, recognizing individual emotions, and recognizing others' emotions.

We hope that students coming to Shepherd College can leave all the necessary equipment to live here and live at work. Our goal is that when each of these students graduates, they are fully confident that they will face the world.

The Davis and Elkins College Assistant Program is based on a powerful liberal arts program that offers students the opportunity to cultivate important life skills and consciousness. Associate undergraduate program prepares students for lifelong learning and succeeds in their chosen field. Concentration of six subjects Each associate's degree focuses on obtaining a bachelor's degree in ongoing research. Students who have acquired an elementary school or advanced degree in the undergraduate course (over 60 terms) can qualify as Associate Degrees only in the following cases. (1) The ultimate degree to which the Associate Degree undergraduate degree is awarded Davis and Elkins College or (2) is focused on the subject of the undergraduate course pursued by the student. Candidates in the Associate Degree must meet the following requirements.

Community college assistant (and bachelor's degree) degree programs often include strict courses in general education areas such as English, mathematics and science. These courses offer a wide range of skills to help you find your career in the field of interest (probably your doctorate but not necessarily yours). Certificates and diplomas, on the other hand, are usually designed to prepare you for your specific work and therefore include a few more career oriented courses. However, depending on the school and academic disciplines, some of these courses may require several core courses (mathematics, English etc).

Bachelor's degree programs are designed to provide students with the skills necessary to pursue balanced education and specific careers. Bachelor's degree requires general and specific courses and prepares students for professional and intermediate management. The Associate Degree often has an entry level career for graduates and has the skills and knowledge necessary to select areas. In some cases, these degrees can be transferred to a four-year degree or can provide a basis for general educational requirements for higher degrees.
