General Discussion Forum

In Audr Lorde's article "July 4th", a number of rhetorical devices were used to communicate powerful messages specifically and to clarify the deeper meaning.

Each group has specific educational objectives suitable for counseling, management, and especially for improving the quality of communication. Creating a general discussion forum for information not related to a particular learning activity is particularly useful to ensure that the learning forum concentrates on the tasks in front of you. For example, we usually create a forum called a course related question. This forum is wide enough to cover problems related to processes, activities, assignments and theories. In addition, according to the nature of the course and the technical tools used, we ran Helen, a technical forum called SOS! (Technical problem) We will lead to this problem. Finally, like classrooms, it is difficult to ignore social interactions not directly related to learning activities. Therefore, we created a social forum where participants can discuss things other than the course.

We will first describe the possibilities of collaboration we see in discussion forums based on our own experiences. Then we propose two types of online discussion forums: general forum and learning forum. For each case, define the role of the teacher by giving an example. Finally, we will explain a brief overview of our experience. Learning forums differ from general forums in that they are aimed at performing specific tasks and learning activities. They are related to achieving the learning objectives, or sometimes more specific ability. Their use is usually well planned and the participation time may be shorter than the general forum. The role of the teacher is more important in the learning forum. Because they contain the purpose of the course, the obvious goal is to participate in these forums more meaningfully than the general forum.
