In this review cases are presented to focus on gender discrimination and inequality of resources of health workers. In addition to examining gender in the HRH literature and explaining the gender framework, this review also examines ways to define and think about gender inequality and discrimination in labor force. It provides research evidence from Kenya, Uganda and other places to illustrate opportunities at work and gender inequality and suggest actions to advance gender equality and HRH agenda.
This report is based on gender discrimination in the workplace. Sex discrimination in the workplace occurs in various forms. Every country recognizes the need to eliminate gender inequality, which is a big problem especially for women. In most cases of sex discrimination, the attitude of the boss is biased towards the victim (male, female, transgender). This attitude brought victims a harsh work environment, led to lack of pressure and motivation for the victims. We talked about gender discrimination by famous large organizations and counterattacks against these employees. To prevent such incidents, we discussed existing legislation and possible future strategies.
