Gender in Literature

This is the era when the feminist movement grew up with spades. The woman started fighting for the same right as men. Women like Elizabeth Caddy Stanton and Susan B. Anthony will continue to fight for voting and equality and will lay the foundation for future progress and ultimately will give women the right to vote in 1920 (Boyer 70-71). At the beginning of the 20th century women had difficulties due to their rights, but American minorities had a hard time fighting for this natural right throughout the century.

My interest in this topic began with my research on gender and feminist criticism in literature. In pursuit of this project, feminism, blues music, African American culture, sex and gender are studied through books, magazines, newspapers, scholarly criticisms and postgraduate course lectures. But by redefining their own Christian spirit and adapting to it, they begin to become rich and if they are not traditional they will live according to their own terms. There are many forms of spirituality in Bailey 's Café including but not limited to sex, definition of gender, self - love, self - acceptance. Furthermore, the role of Naylor redefined what he believes society is uncomfortable and gained independence from personality by accepting its inner spirituality.

Since most readers tend to express themselves using letters in their gender books, the way that children's books and literature as a whole expresses gender is important. The impact of literature on children is particularly strong. They often use role-playing gender characters and ideologies in children's books, gradually forming the impression of women and men.

Judith Butler's concept of gender performance is also related to gender-specific children's literature by analyzing ways of expressing personality, reflected in children's literary criticism. Butler defined gender performance: "Production actually happens through some kind of repetition and recitation." Butler also told the view that "acting is a discourse model that introduces ontological effects". Butler's theme is an adult's theme, but the concept of iteration is beyond the theme of childhood. Both Butler and Rakan believe that repetition is a potential factor in forming a person's identity and then children can apply it to children's literature by reading books repeatedly.

Judith Butler is an American gender theorist and professor of comparative literature and rhetoric at the University of California at Berkeley. Since 1988 she has written many books and articles on feminism, gender theory, philosophy and culture. Here we will focus on her views on feminism and gender, especially her most prominent book, Gender Sexuality: Feminism and the mention of being overthrown. In this work, she will challenge the existing feminist model on how to define female sex.
