Hawthorn 's Blithedale Romantic Gender Baptedale Romance by Nathaniel Hawthorne is a story about twisted utopia. This perfect world is distorted because the role of sex is only based on traditional utopian performance and more modern expression. Of course, as this book was written and published in the 19th century, this idea is very interesting as these ideas began to form shapes for writing. Hawthorne combines fantasy, philosophy, mystery, goth, and even (today's) science fiction.
The first person narrator, The Blithedale Romance, talks about Hawthorne 's only romantic story, based on Hawthorne attempting to join the Utopia Brook Farm. Like Hawthorne, Miles Coverdale noticed the disconnection between working life and poetry life; like Hawthorne, he has never participated in community activities with all my heart. Coverdale is an internally viewed person, as a conscious observer, he is the most James among all Hawthorne characters. As Martin said, Hawthorne sacrificed some aesthetic benefits, and allowed Coveredale to speak his story. His name is as exciting as Chillingworth, but Coverdale loses its symbolic strength for many of his explanations - for example he is sick when he arrives at Blithedale his illness is new It is the imagination of an untrustworthy narrator who was purgatory to prepare for life
The last two novels of Hawthorn did not succeed so much. Both are modern and hinder the magic of romance. Blithedale Romance (1852) is known for his portraits of socialist Utopia Brook farm community. In this book, Hawthorne criticizes self-sufficiency, power-deficient social reformers whose most profound instincts are not true democracy. The marble shepherd (1860) is in Rome, but it details the theme of Puritan's sin, isolation, atonement and redemption. These themes are trademarks of Hawthorn's most famous short story, as well as his special environment in New England's Purit colony: "Minister's Black Bale", "Young Goodman Brown", and "My Relative , Main Missouri Lin Man "In the last part, a countryman young man came to town - this is a common line of urbanization in the 19th century America - a strong relatives who have never seen before I am seeking the help of.
