Gender equality in education is about the effects of this process on the socialization of men and women and the outcome of men and women (Husen & Postlethwaite, 1994). In the United States, the educational system needs to treat men and women equally. Many researches have been done to compare gender in all fields. Previous studies have shown that women are far behind in men in many areas such as mathematics and science, but males are behind women in certain areas.
Although track and field events traditionally focused on the discussion in Section 9, progress in gender equality in education had a major impact on women's learning experience and subsequent employment opportunities. Due to the popularity of sports topics and tremendous progress made in such short periods, discussions on women's athletics seems to obscure the progress of women's educational experience. Problems in women's athletics are attracting people's attention in the years since Part 9, but the pursuit of education and employment in gender equality and education is constantly evolving and progressing - it's just behind the scenes.
