Abstract In today's home, business, and government sectors, the use of information technology is dramatically increasing, and technology is an inevitable part of human life. Researchers have devised various models and theories to study the extent to which humans use computers and the factors that affect their applications. The unified recruitment and use technical theory (UTAUT) is the latest model to understand the nature of the use of technology and has been applied in the fields of education, banking and medical care. Sex is considered an important variable in explaining the acceptance of human beings in technology. The purpose of this research is to examine existing literature on technology use and the intention of using technology from the viewpoint of gender.
