Gender Differences in "Trifles"

Susan Glaspell's "Trifles" script is mainly based on stereotypes. Play also explores the differences between women, but the most common one is women's inferior to men. Because women's intelligence is underestimated by men, they are not seriously thinking when they have a "clever" idea, or express their views about "serious" subjects.
