Gender and Power and Privilege

The problem of sex and privilege has been a common theme of society for many years. The women's liberation movement from the 1960s to the 1970s brought about the gender-based privilege that people enjoy and how it affects women's lives. As a man, I can choose the occupation I want to pursue, so there is little chance of face of harassment or discrimination. Women who choose careers in military and other non-traditional disciplines often face discrimination that directly affects their professional success.

In our culture today, men's privileges and power against women are almost helpless. To truly realize his power to others, men are concerned about how women are in a weak position and, more importantly, about how he enjoys sex-based privileges as men We need to try to educate ourselves.
