Gender: A Socially Constructed Ideal

Do boys learn to be men and girls to be women? When it is impossible to judge when you know exactly what boys or girls mean. The reason is that the role of gender is the result of constant exposure to gender socialization. From birth, we are vulnerable to the social impact on the view that men and women should be included. Our clothing, behavior, choice, and how to interact with others is related in some way to the role of gender in our lives.

Gender social construction is the concept of feminist and sociological research on gender and gender differences in society. According to this view, society and culture create gender roles defined as ideal or appropriate actions of people of a particular gender. These fundamental theories of social constructivism can be applied to all research problems related to human life including gender issues. Is gender an indispensable category or social structure? If it is a social structure, how does it work? Who will benefit from gender construction methods? Gender perspective of social constructivism transcends categories and examines blur of boundaries between multiple identity intersections and essentialist categories. This is especially true for the male and female categories. Men and women are usually considered binary, and vice versa. Social constitutionalism makes ambiguous two, trying to confuse these two categories.
