Last week, I animated the first illustration. This is part of my new Illustrated Rock and Roll series, I treat lyrics as editing tasks and make a new illustration every Friday. This series is a forum for making artwork I want, and it is also a long-term composition. (More about the future)
When I was at the high-line community college graphic design course, we were doing work, and we had to use books, poetry or lyrics to explain the scene. I chose Jimmy for my illustration and read the lyrics before class. I think someone was shocked by the moving poetry of the rock band. Include photos that I drew a few years ago. Brian: reminiscent of the dungeon between the cymbals' playing methods (which remind us of the chain) and the way the bass is emphasized in the song. So, it is not a classic meaning "difficult", but even if it is difficult and not heavy, it seems like a little premonition and intimidation. I like art for many years. You obviously know that this song is more than I did at that time. Cool tokens and runs
In his editorial illustration class, Mikey Burton instructs students to explain interesting phrases that are not meaningful, such as "raining cats and dogs" and "you are what you are eating". When l thinking this phrase in a fun and intelligent way, the literal meaning of these words can be used as an inspiration. It is a matter of course that artists and designers are inspired by everyday things, including food. Jonathan Ball did a wonderful work for vector illustration in his class. And encouraged the students to design characters based on their favorite food. Please give your character your first name: Dillon Kimchi? Lewis scholar carrot? Or Cheesus? Please share your sketches and drafts in the course library, even if you are not, and get feedback from our support community
