Gatsby hosted the party. He held elegant music and a gorgeous party with thousands of entertainment. His guests always come back and he always welcomes his guests so he seems to like celebrations. On the surface, he appreciated all the people in his life and seems to be outgoing. But under this façade, Gatsby has more ominous aspects. Jay Gatsby is manipulating my environment to meet myself and I do not care about other people, narcissists. Jay Gatsby is a self-lover for his relationship with Daisy, the environmental operation of his party, his way of talking, and respect for others.
At the end of the novel, Tom said that Gates was "throwing his eyes in a daisy-like eyes", which means that Nick and Daisy are accepted and real Gatsby never can be seen And it is the culprit. Tom is right - the whole novel is that Nick is about to change its negative role to an active role. When they compete for Daisy's love, Tom Buchanan and Jay Gatsby sometimes seem to be very similar - especially their self-centered, wealthy and external attention. At the same time, these superficial similarities point to major conflicts in their social class, and they say a lot to the world of this novel.
At Tom 's house, Daisy felt asphyxiated and isolated as her emotional need was not satisfied. On the other hand, Gatsby was isolated for his infamous world and became a shadow in his own palace. The difference between Gatsby and Daisy is in personality, but Daisy is self-love, shallow, selfish; Gatsby is selfless, innocent, and ideal. Fitzgerald clinically analyzes society by manifesting the decline of traditional values such as loyalty and responsibility. A seemingly elegant luxury gentle like Tom and Daisy is addicted to the style just to satisfy that idea. In Nick and Gatsby, I saw the only innocence in the novel. Nick knew that Daisy and Tom betrayed Gatsby and stayed with Gatsby until the end. Gatsby was pursuing an innocent dream of idealistic love, but Nick fell for middle class morality and arranged for Gatsby's funeral.
Daisy may not mind, but she is extremely worried about Nick (Great Gatsby: Daisy). Nick is the neighbor of Gatsby, especially as Gatsby continues to appeal to him (Fitzgerald), trying to help Gatsby with Daisy. One day, Gatsby, Tom, Daisy, Nick, Jordan went out. Daisy rocked trying to escape and ran through Myrtle Wilson (Fitzgerald). Daisy did not mind her death and did not sympathize, she did not even admit it, but let him take responsibility for Gatsby as he and she were in the car (Willhite)
